Marcus A. Hester CFP® - President & Founder

Marcus A. Hester CFP® is the President and Founder of The Hester Group a full service financial advisory firm headquartered in Evansville IN. Since 2012 Marcus has dedicated his expertise to providing holistic financial strategies to business owners, individuals, and families that help them protect their assets and overcome their long-term financial objectives. 

Born and raised in Evansville Indiana, Marcus is a High School graduate of Evansville Day School where he played basketball and soccer. Marcus went on to attend Western Kentucky University, in Bowling Green Kentucky where he received his bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Marcus completed his Certified Financial Planner™ course work through The American College along with passing the CFP® Board Exam to earn the  distinguished CFP® Designation. Marcus has been recognized as a 2018, 2019 & 2020 Qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table* which consist of the Top 1% of Insurance and Financial Services professionals in the Industry. Marcus is genuinely passionate about helping people achieve their financial goals and embraces every opportunity he is able to do so. His experience and commitment to ongoing education over the years have provided him with extensive expertise in working with individuals, families and businesses.

Marcus has been recognized by the Evansville Courier & Press as a 20 under 40 award recipient and he is actively involved in numerous  organizations that focus on empowering the community. When not in the office, Marcus enjoys playing golf and spending time with family and friends.
